NC State University’s social media comments guidelines:

Thank you for being a part of the NC State social media community. This account highlights the people, research and happenings at NC State University. Consistent with NC State’s Equal Opportunity, Non-Discrimination, and Affirmative Action Policy, the North Carolina Campus Free Speech Act, and applicable laws, we encourage your comments and opinions as they relate to our posts.

Please be aware that we cannot immediately review every comment posted. Comments are not screened prior to being published and do not necessarily reflect our viewpoints or opinions, are the sole responsibility of the individual who posts them, and we cannot guarantee the accuracy of these posts. Please understand any comments that are posted on our social media channels are of limited duration and we may move or remove comments when they are no longer timely or relevant. Comments and published content must stay on topic. We may delete posts that are not relevant to the specific content of our pages or to NC State.

NC State further reserves the right to remove any comments that are in violation of law, blatant spam, contain advertisements, solicit funds, or contain inappropriate personal information or sensitive information. All content and posts are also bound by the Terms and Community Guidelines for that Social Media service (i.e. Facebook Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, Instagram Terms of Use and Community Guidelines, etc.).
